About The Course

The Cardiac Care Technician diploma course is designed to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the field of cardiac care, driven by a rise in lifestyle-related diseases and cardiac disorders. Over two years, students will acquire essential knowledge and technical skills necessary to perform a variety of procedures critical to cardiac health.

The curriculum focuses on both non-invasive procedures, such as electrocardiograms, exercise tolerance tests, and ambulatory monitoring, as well as assistance in invasive procedures like angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiological studies. Students will learn to provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases, including pre- and post-surgery support.

Cardiac Care Technologists play a vital role in assisting physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions. They are also responsible for preparing patients for open-heart surgeries and pacemaker implantations.

As Allied and Healthcare Professionals (AHPs), graduates of this program will be equipped to deliver a range of healthcare services, including therapeutic, diagnostic, curative, preventive, and rehabilitative interventions, making a significant impact on patient outcomes in cardiac care.
