Key responsibilities include managing patient flow in and out of the operating theatre, overseeing the organization of surgical instruments, and setting up the operation theatre table, dressing table, and anesthesia table. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as they collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.

Given the diverse specialties within surgery—such as General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG), Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics, and Genitourinary Surgery—OT Technicians must possess a broad understanding of these fields.
